Grade 4-5 Basic Computing

This is an 8-week course designed to introduce Grade 4 and 5 learners to the basics of using computers. It helps learners build confidence in using technology for schoolwork and everyday activities.

During this course, learners will:

• Learn what a computer is and name its main parts (like the screen, keyboard, and mouse).
• Practise how to use a computer, including typing, clicking, and opening programs.
• Explore fun and simple programs to create basic documents and drawings.
• Learn how to use the internet in a safe and simple way.
• Understand basic rules for staying safe and being responsible when using digital devices.

The lessons are fun, interactive, and easy to understand, giving learners plenty of time to practise and explore using their own computer.
